Where to find Facilities #

Editing Facilities

  • Navigate to the backend of your website
  • Hover over Accommodation.
  • Select the Facilities option from the submenu.
  • Add in a new Facility by giving it a title (eg: Pool)
  • Configure the slug for the facility (The “slug” is the URL-friendly version of the name. It is usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens.)
  • If you wish to add the facility as a sub-facility, select the “Parent” facility you wish to assign it too (eg: A sub-facility for “Pool” could be “Heated Indoor Pool”)
  • Add a brief description of the facility
  • Select the Add New Facility option
  • Facilities can then be added to relevant accommodations

Editing a single Facility

  • In the Facilities screen, you can edit existing facility by hovering over the facility and clicking Edit.
  • Now you can edit the following:
    • Name – The name of the Facility.
    • Slug – The slug for the Facility. (The “slug” is the URL-friendly version of the name. It is usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens.)
    • Parent Travel Style – Assign the parent to this Facility, this will typically be the group that the facility falls into, eg: Activities on Site.
    • Description – Add a brief description of the travel style.
    • Featured Image – Assign a features image to this Facility, this will show in the Travel Style archive.
    • Tagline – Assign a tagline to this Facility, this will display in the archive.
    • Expert – Assign a team member to the Facility.
