Where to find the Tour Operator settings #
The configuration for the Tour Operator plugin is done via the Tour Operator settings menu tab in your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to the backend of your WordPress website.
- Head down to Settings > Tour Operator.
- You will land on the “General” Tour Operator settings tab with the following core settings available
General settings #
Currency Settings #
- Currency – This is the currency that will be used throughout the site. All pricing will be in this currency, and the currency symbol will appear next to prices.
- Disable Country Code – Checking this box will disable the 3 letter currency code from displaying before prices throughout the site. The currency symbol will still display.
Map Settings #
- Disable Maps – This will disable maps on all post types.
- Choose a default marker –
- Choose a cluster marker –
- Choose a start marker –
- Choose an end marker –
Placeholder Settings #
- Upload a placeholder –
APIs #
- Google Maps API key – Enter your Google maps API key here, this will allow you to utilise the Google Maps feature on the single Tours and single Destinations templates.

Template Settings #
- Disable Archives – This disables the “post type archive”, if you create your own custom loop it will still work.
- Disable Singles – When disabled you will be redirected to the homepage when trying to access a single page.
